Pre-MRI lab assessment of eGFR is only required within 6 weeks of the MRI for patients with the following conditions:

• History of 'kidney disease' (including renal tumor or transplant) as an adult 18 years and older.
• Solid organ transplant (excluding renal transplant, which is covered above).
• History of severe hepatic disease, liver transplant, or pending liver transplant.
